This is Simply ME! (My Manifesto)

What does Manifesto mean? I was asking this question when we first received this assignment. After doing some research i discovered that the term Manifesto means it is a document which sets forth the principles and goals of an organization. It is basically designed to be widely distributed to the public and it serves as an official declaration. One famous Manifesto I came across was The Communist Manifesto. To summarize it is bascially a reflection of certain goals of Communism. It also explains the theory behind this particular movement. It argues that the development is inevitable. The intentions were to help this movement and to also help the parties and associations that are pushing history forward to its natural state.

Another Manifesto i came across was a very well known document....The Declaration of Independence. This Manifesto is the glue that keeps our country together. Its a guideline to how we should organize and run the country as smoothly as possible. As years pass this declaration still continues to keep our nation strong!

After learning about Manifesto I finally realized what my very own would be like. The title of my Manifesto would be ...This is Simply ME! Its about my life and what i deeply believe in. Its simple enough for an everyday average person to read and get a complete and full understanding of who i truly am and "to not judge a book by its cover."

To start off I was born on February 21, 1988 in Memphis, Tn. I am the fourth of five children. I have three older brothers who all attend The University of Memphis and a younger sister who still attends Bartlett High School. I am a freshman at Memphis, I am currently studying the different aspects of the world of Art! I have been interested in art since I was little, drawing is my favorite past time, when im not working or at school im drawing. My options are very open as to what my career choice will be, but whatever it is I will be successful and be able to support myself and not have to rely on anyone. Im a very hardworker anything you throw my way i will achieve. Failure is not in my vocabulary. One of my pet peeves is being lied to. I believe thats the worst thing to do to a person. Its disrespectful and it scarring to any relationship. I do have a soft side, I always put others before myself. I am the type of person anyone can come to if they have a problem. I have had to handle almost every situation throughout my life and can relate to any problem that someone brings to me.

Luthern is my religious belief, it is a more laid back version of catholicism. I attend the church Emmanuel Luthern with my family but also when i visit my Grandparents i attend a Catholic church in Knoxville, Tn. I also believe very strongly in true love. I believe everyone has a certain somebody that their meant to be with . I believe someone might have to go through multiple people they love to truly find that one special person even if it means a broken heart every now and then. Its better to love then to have never loved before. I believe love is God's greatest gift we could recieve.

I am thankful for so many things in my life. For instance, my family and everything they have given me, like a roof over my head, food on the table, clothes on my back, and the values they have taught me. Im also thankful for my friends who are always there for me through thick and through thin. Without them I wouldn't be the person I am today. I might not show how much i appreciate them all the time, but honestly I am grateful for everything I have today.

I believe everyone has there own choice and need to make there own decision, no one should rely on someone else's opinion. I also believe no one should judge someone else by their appearance because not everyone knows what that person has been through. God didn't make perfect people because if we were all perfect, we wouldn't be able to grow and learn from our mistakes and become better people.
